Picking up Kyle in Pueblo!

Miles Completed: 2,060
Approximate Miles Remaining: 1,340
Speaking with Kyle, he’s outside of Pueblo, CO, with mileage today equaling just over 50 miles. He’s been shadowing the Arkansas river for the past few hours and will continue to trace its origins far into the Rockies, west of Pueblo, beginning on Monday. For the rest of the day Kyle will be replenishing his food, fuel (for the camp stove), and bike necessities in town.
Having ridden over 2,000 miles during the past three weeks, Kyle is certainly enduring some aches and pains, in addition to a broken pedal which worsened yesterday. The pedal is still somewhat functional and thus he’s limping it along to Pueblo; we’ve located a replacement at a bike shop in Denver and will make the repair over the weekend. As for the weekend, Kyle will be recovering and preparing for the last push through the mountains and on to the coast. He’ll be in the hot tub, barbequing, swimming, paddle boating, and generally relaxing until Monday!
